Hollywood probably wouldn’t have made James Bond movies to this day if it wasn’t for the first time. Fortunately, Sean Connery was chosen in the early sixties as the first Bond to be represented on the big screen. Unlike many other actors who have played this role, Connery has a long tradition in the film as one of the greatest actors of all time and won an Oscar for his name.

Connery was killed on the 25th. August 1930: Born in Edinburgh, Scotland, the son of a working-class family where he practised various occupations during his childhood and youth. Initially he was interested in the world of bodybuilding and athletics in general. Connery didn’t grow up to be an actor, he grew up to make ends meet at the age of 20.

Connery worked in the theatre for money when he decided to try acting after his first theatrical role. It appeared for several years in the 1950s, but was not often shown on the big screen. His only role on screen was an extra role in the film Lilac in the spring of 1954. It wasn’t until 1957 that he got the role of the teacher that Spike played in the field.

In the same year Connery appeared in three other films and began collecting more important works until the end of the decade, first in 1959 in the film Darby O’Gill and Little People. Then, in the early sixties, Connery finally got the role of his life.

Producer Alfred Broccoli was looking for someone to make a version of the James Bond film and his wife offered Connery the role. The creator of James Bond, Ian Fleming, wasn’t convinced at first, but he decided to give it a chance. It was a big commitment for Connery, who had to sign several films, but in the long run it was the right choice.

Connery made his debut in 1962 as James Bond in the film Dr. No, which helped establish the franchise. The film’s budget was just over $1 million, and almost $60 million was picked up at the box office. All of Conner Bond’s films will be a great help to the studio over time, as he continued his first success with films such as Russia Love, Golden Finger, Thunderball and You live only twice in the sixties. Connery also starred in the 1971 film Diamonds – that’s forever and left the franchise to return in 1983 with the film Never Say Never Again.

Connery seems to wonder what it’s been like to be synonymous with James Bond for so many years. Most of Connery wanted to leave this role forever, but he knows that without him he wouldn’t be where he is now. I’m grateful to the film (honesty) for building my career this way, but I have to be careful not to go against it too much (police). I’m hoping to make a completely different movie, he said. Connery finally left the franchise and said I never loved Bond as much as some people thought. Creating such a character requires a certain skill. It’s only natural to look for other roles.

Connery starred in films outside the James Bond series, such as Hill and Shalako during his franchise, but he won more time in the 1970s, when he no longer had to worry about changing his franchise for a new film almost every year. In the seventies Connery played too far apart in the films Murder on the Orient Express, Robin and Marian and Bridge.

The ’80s will be even more profitable for Connery because he has participated in several successful films that have won him many awards. Films such as The Name of the Rose and Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade were hugely successful, while Untouchables earned him his first Oscar nomination and his first victory in the Best Supporting Actor category in 1987.

In the next decade Connery played in films like The Hunt for Red October and The Rock, but in the 2000s he only had two roles. Connery played a leading role in Forrester’s research in 2000 and in the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen in 2003. Shortly after, Connery announced that he would leave the cast, but he had another role. She arrived in 2012 with the cartoon Sir Billy, which bombarded both critics and the public.

Connery was convinced that he had already finished his acting and ruled out the possibility of returning to another Indiana Jones or James Bond film. What made Connery disappear was that I was tired of dealing with idiots (of course). Over the years, the gap between those who can shoot and those who cannot has widened… They are quick in and out of the movie, and too many people don’t know what they are doing, and they say it’s (of course) too much fun to retire.
